Amazing spot. Amazing servers. I recommend this place.
This is such a cute little spot off Kedzie! The food is super fresh and the cocktail menu is unique too. They carry sotol, a personal favorite of mine. There is a daily drink special and a happy hour 3-6pm! I had the east coast oysters, sotol no sorry, and spinach empanadas. I’m very excited to have a solid, upscale Mexican food option in the neighborhood :)
*** update since Valentine's Day *** After the fiasco I had in February, was finally able to go back this past Friday for brunch, and they did not disappoint. Seems a lot of the issues have been corrected and I highly recommend checking them out. Made a valentines reservation for 7. Waited an hour to be seated. Took 45 mins to get my cocktails , 45 mins to order and never got any of my food. Ruined my valentines date as 2 1/2 hours at a restaurant with no food is unacceptable. I'm happy to have finally visited this restaurant. I took my family last night for my dad's birthday and everything was outstanding. From the attentive customer service to the delicious chef's talent in the food. Every meal is bound to surprise you with amazing flavors and attention to detail in every bite. I'm looking forward to return and try their brunch which is served Fridays to Sunday.
This place is excellent, although a bit on the pricey side…but the quality is there, so you do get what you pay for. The restaurant is spacious, and can accommodate groups of all sizes…couples, families, celebrations. It’s nicely decorated…well-lighted yet moody, and upscale, neighborhood casual & friendly.
