I recently began leasing a commercial shop building that has been heated with oil for 30 years. This January as we started running low on fuel, I reached out to Dead River to have the tank filled. Horrible company, fuel prices 30-40 cents higher than anywhere else. 18% late fees. This company that is taking advantage of the area. Consumer fuels is greatly missed. Deadriver is horrible. 80 gallons= $343.20 right now.
I called dead river Saturday. They said they'd have delivery out Monday. Today - Wednesday - I notice that there are no footprints in the snow, go check the tank, reading zero. Thankfully heat still on, but about to run out! So I call them to figure out what's going on. They see the info on my account but whoever took the call didn't actually add me to delivery schedule for Monday. They say they can deliver today ONLY if I pay $150 surcharge for emergency delivery even though it was their fault. I can understand the screw up... read more
