Restaurant was very slow because the beach area and room service came first. Understaffed.The hotel has been renovated and has very nice rooms with upscale finishes.

We stayed for 5 nights, mainly for a place to sleep and shower as family lived down the road. For three (3) nights there was no hot water and one day we had no water for most of the day while they were fixing the hot water issue. We were unable to shower before Christmas Eve dinner plans. Phone in the room did not work to call even the front desk. Despite repeated notices that the phone was not working (but blinking for 5 nights), there was never a response. Paying almost to $800 a night for a room, granted, it’s oceanfront, You would expect a certain level of service. We checked in late and wanted to grab some food. I asked the man at the front desk what time the kitchen was open till he said 11 PM. It was 1030. We were exhausted from traveling when we got to the restaurant they informed us to close at 10 PM.
