You are not just a number to them.
As one of a dying breed, a LOCAL, I’ve seen Tidelands health go from bad to privatized worse! The bright spots have been the first 2 recent appointments at Tidelands Endocrinology and PA-C, Gabrielle Dunchuck. I was Diagnosed with Type ll Diabetes in 2017. Other than Dr.Archambeau (now semi retired) it wasn’t until my 1st appointment in late 2024 l once again felt concern from any Tidelands “practitioner “ Gabby took time to actually listen, thought briefly and responded with a well thought response. Gabby is fantastic at listening to your concerns and answers all of your questions. Her and Dr Remines are the best at Tidelands.
Dr. Fernandez actually listened to me. Most of the other doctors I have treat me like I don't know what I am saying. I know my body! She answered questions for me, drew entire thyroid panel and ordered thyroid ultrasound. Bloodwork showed I had too much thyroid medicine in my body. Why couldn't this be caught a long time ago?? Finally!
