Office was new and very clean, every staff member I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. They took my concerns seriously and were very helpful with getting diagnostics scheduled.
Once I got to the actual procedures it was easy and professional. Everyone was great. However the P.A. I saw for the initial visit was condescending, judgemental, and offensive. It took 8 months for an appointment which had to be rescheduled so 15 months before I was seen. Other than the folks at the actual procedure the office staff was lacking. I realize there is a lot of demand but their uncaring attitude says find another office.
Sarah Proffit, FNP, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in both discussing condition and explaining medication. She takes time to answer questions and does not rush through the office visit.
When your insurance dictates it's here or nowhere, you review based on that fact. So, generally speaking, I have not had the worst time with TH GI. Dr. K has gotten to know me and all of my issues, and now I'm learning that he is leaving! :( I already know the PA who'll be taking over for him, and we like him, so I think I'll be in good hands.
