Was just quoted $4000+ for a timing belt service (belt, tensioner, and water pump) and nothing else. Quoted at over 10 hours. That’s quite the scam. Might as well put in a whole new engine for that price. I have a dozen other quotes under $2000. Most are right around $1600, even at other Honda dealerships. Anyone reading this review: do not fall for this absurd scam.
Decline in quality of service. DONT even bother calling Service Department. They DONT answer the phone AT ALL and when they do, they FORGET your appointment and tell you to come back. They half ass the service when you eventually get the car in, charge you 90 dollars to clear codes just for them to come back… Larissa was amazing and did a good job at holding the place down, but she no longer works there. Will be taking my money to Santa Rosa Manly Honda from now on👍
We took our 2018 Honda Accord for a fuel pump recall and ever since the car has a sluggish start. This car was in excellent condition prior to them touching it. Took it back to Thurston and they are taking no responsibility. They are “recommending” to change the starter. I’ve been reading about others having the same issue after changing the fuel pump recall. Now I have to find other mechanics to fix the problem they caused. What can I say about Kevin B. In Sales? He is FANTASTIC. Our sales experience was the best we have had. We bought a CRV Hybrid. Kevin starts with a brief introduction - then moved into a review of the vehicle, test drive and discussion. Our experience was complete and no pressure. Then the next day he checked in to see how our drive home was - who does that! HIGHLY RECOMMEND- Kevin!!!
