Seems to be typical physician these days. Spends as little time as possible in appointments and doesnt tell you as much as he can about your condition; such as details about symptoms, prognosis going forward, all possible solutions, or even self help care really. Perhaps its an IU orthopedics issue, in that the only thing they are allowed to do is recommend their physical therapy dept. This happened last time I saw one of their other physicians also.
I saw this physician at the Carmel Forte location. Note, there are further reviews at his main south side location as well. Excellent experience. Compassionate, kind and thorough, he led me to my diagnosis at our first encounter. I will seek him out again if needed for further sports injuries. Thanks, Dr. Alvey!
