I'm surprised he didn't use the EHR during our visit while he was in the room with me. I hope it wasn't a directive from Kettering Health in order to make the visit more "personable". If that was the case, as a physician myself, I would find that quite burdensome being restricted from accessing the patients' file during the exam. I suppose it's a balance, but it may have unintended consequences.
