Earlier this year, I purchased my first handgun. I have grown up around guns, have hunted before but not much experience shooting a pistol. A friend suggested this place for training, so that’s what I did a couple weeks ago. This was my first class so I have nothing else to compare it to. I've been shopping around town and price checking a pistol I want to buy. After stopping by a new range I've never been to and getting totally ignored while looking at firearms even though I was the only one in there I decided to stop by thunderbird tactical. I just took the conceal carry course at Thunderbird, and it was great! The instructor, Justin Converse, was awesome! Very knowledgeable, helpful in the classroom and on the range, and made sure we all understood all the information. Thanks to all the staff at Thunderbird, I look forward to visiting again in the future!
My go to place.. knowledgeable staff and they are very helpful. New to the gun world but they have been there to answer questions and good turn around time on them helping with modifications

I visited Thunderbird Academy this evening to give the range a try with some colleagues. In short, it was a blast. The range was nice and cool even in the 100 degree weather. Where else can say that ??? To put simply it is hands down better than bullet stop or bullseye. I signed up on the spot, I was so impressed, and continue to be impressed. Bravo Thunderbird.
