Beds were like sleeping on planks. Asked for a mattress pad. Apparently had bedbugs! Will never go back again!

Amazing location, great staff, wonderful views!! The Thunderbird is within walking distance to many local establishments & our beach front balcony was amazing, what a great way to start & end a day. We have already booked again for next year!!
We booked a day before arriving because we just needed a vacation and a place to go in May 2014. We randomly just chose a resort & it happened to be The Thunderbird. We are SOOOO happy we did, we are coming back this September again because we loved it so much!
The Thunderbird is a great family resort. Was perfect for us. Always clean and very friendly staff in a prefect location right on the beach :) will definately return there again :)

This is the best place ever!!! Great staff, wonderful rooms, pool and hot tub. You are right on the beach and close to many attractions and fun things to do. You can also take the trolley up and down the beach! Even better…just relax at the Tiki Hut every day and listen to music. As I prepare for our first snow storm, I am thinking about when to plan my next trip!
