Renters BEWARE!! My daughter who is pregnant with 2 other littles has been renting a duplex and has had issue after issue. Recently her water heater stopped working, she put in service request after service request for about 4 weeks ! Finally someone comes to "fix" it and discovers there is no gas. It is her conclusion that Thunder Sun Homes owes a hefty balance and was disconnected. Leaving her without hot water. STAY AWAY! DO NOT RENT!!!!!!! Properties are run down, no water in majority of places, no a/c despite maintenance requests, they refuse to pay their bills, keep having to foreclose on homes and they own over 119 properties in Lubbock alone. He is being sued and they do not answer their phones. They will lie to say whatever you want to get your money and then leave you in an unsafe, uninhabitable place.
This house down the street is ALWAYS trashed. Lawn is never mowed. Neighbors are always reporting them to the city
Been paying my rent on time every month and haven't missed not one payment. All of a sudden I get a extra charge on my rent saying it was for a WATER BILL. I asked the 2 people from the office why would I be getting charge a water bill on my RENT? Like why wouldn't it just go to my water bill!! Remind you I had a 90$ credit on my utility water account when I moved in. I've called several times asking these guys what's going on and they keep ignoring me and dodging my calls.very unprofessional!!
