We went to Bonneville Dam with friends from NY, and followed up with lunch at Thunder Island, just east a few miles. Looks like a fun place to visit in the summer, but even in the rain, it was a great place for a couple of beers and lunch.
The best recommendation I can give is that we ordered 5 items (2 beers, an appetizer, a salad, and a sandwich) and there wasn’t one we would hesitate to order again. Very casual, low-key atmosphere, and gorgeous outdoor view of the river.
