RecommendedWe kept our trailer on site for the entire summer alongside another family that we know while our husbands served military time for the Alpena CRTC, it's an incredibly well taken care of property and Deb is an incredible host! The campground is very clean, quiet and accomodating. The shower and bath house SPOTLESS at all times, great hot water and shower pressure. We’ve camped here a few times, nice clean campground. However, as we were packing up to leave the park today with our kids, we were chased by an unsupervised, unleashed pit bull. The kids mentioned that the same dog had bit another little girl twice over the weekend. When we notified the owner we were told not to come back, very disappointed that the safety and well-being of our kids wasn’t more of a priority.
Deb was so kind to us on our 2 visits in 2019. We are looking forward to going again. Campground is easy to find, really clean and makes a great Basecamp for hikers.
I have been comming here for years. Clean friendly staff. Love it
