I booked an appointment, I showed up 15 minutes early and than waited another 30 minutes before seeing a nurse. The nurse was nice but I noticed a bunch of open rooms and there was no one in the lobby. So why the wait. It seems things don't run efficiently.
Overall, the staff at Thunder Bay District Health Unit are friendly and helpful, and I really appreciate the assistance from a lady at the reception desk who kindly helped me make an appointment. However, I would like to point out that some staff members seem impatient. When I called to make an appointment, a gentleman sounded somewhat impatient and tried to redirect me to another clinic simply because I declined the appointment time he offered. Just wanted to post that I truly appreciate this health clinic. I’ve been going there for over 10 years and they are always so kind, and caring. No judgement, and all the nurses and staff etc are kind and knowledgeable. Wait times aren’t too bad, but making an appointment before hand is a good option. Thank you TBDHU!

As I stated many a time about the nasty water bottles that folks use to wash their rectal area and leave them to the public as well as other things this office cares nothing about public health that require serious health concerns in public bathrooms….This office only cares about the paycheques.
