Best breakfast in Atlanta – A small neighbourhood diner old style with large portions, great flavors, good prices and excellent and friendly service. I will defenitelly come back on my next trip to Atlanta. I had the Skillet Heap with eggs and chicken sausage, it was huge and soooo delicious. The wholegrain biscuit was perfect. Don't think about it more, just go!
Yummy! – I love breakfast food and this place makes the best omelets!! The service has always been on point and the atmosphere is cozy. Its definitely one of my favorite spots in Atlanta...I give it a "thumbs up"!! :-)
Best Breakfast in the City – Love love love their breakfast! Hate the wait (always crowded) but worth it when my skillet comes!
Great food, fabulous service – My friends and I met at the Marietta St. location this morning for a lovely breakfast experience. My build-it-yourself omlet was just right (hearty and full of veggies, not too dry), and the several bites I filched of my boyfriend's french toast were to die for! Our waiter (David) was efficient, attentive, and entertaining without being annoying. An all-around wonderful breakfast spot.
Thumbs Up is Thumbs Down – I had been to this place a few months ago and had the omelet with the salmon and it was very good. I took my friend this week and I was not happy. The tables were wet and the coffee was cold, old (like it had been sitting for a while) and it had grounds floating to the top. My burger was good, but my friend ordered the Heap and it was burned on the bottom and it was not very tasty. We won't be going back.
Just ok – We had heard nothing but great things about this diner and thought we'd try it out. My fiance had the biscuits and gravy and I ordered the denver omelett. I found a small hair in my omelette, but I'm sure if you think about it...we probably ingest more than we know, so I didn't think it was THAT big of a deal. The food was unexciting. I would rather go to JChristophers.
The one on Marietta Street – The new location on Marietta is as good as the original! Everything is good - everything. Don't walk, RUN and enjoy real food made for real people! The menu is varied, interesting and relaiable. Everything we've had there is delicious and fresh. The service is diner perfect. Get going!!
