I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Lily Mirzada at Thriveworks. I found her to be unprofessional, lacking in empathy, and dismissive of my needs as a client. Lily repeatedly emphasized that in-person therapy is much more beneficial than telehealth, even after I explained that my schedule makes in-person appointments extremely difficult and that telehealth is what I am realistically able to accommodate. came away from the session feeling like someone finally listened and i didnt have to constantly decode what shei was trying to say which is saying a lot considering how vague i can be with my own thoughts we just got so deep into a topic and time flew i didnt even check my phone once the office itself is just really calming low lighting not cold or clinical at all just a comfortable space to sit in already booked my next one and i never book ahead for anything so that says something i know therapy is hard to start but this p... read more
Worst company. Do not use them. They charged my personal card for an appointment that should have been billed to my insurance less than a week post appointment . When I called to dispute the transaction, the call center employee told me that their protocol is to wait 30-45 days to get payment from insurance. And, that she checked my insurance and it was active so I shouldn’t have been charged unless after 30-45 days insurance was unresponsive. Do not use this "company" it's just a call center in another country trying to get your money!! 3 times I've had "therapists" cancel or no show on me and son. The ONE appointment that was supposed to be with a PSYCHIATRIST, the lady showed up 15 minutes late and she wasn't even a doctor, even though on the email under her name is says PSYCHIATRIST. I'm pretty sure that's illegal to misrepresent. I told her I was supposed to be assessed for a diagnosis and she told me that she doesn't do that. I've never in my life delt with ... read more
