After trying a therapist here awhile i called it quits recently due to a therapist making me feel belittled for needing to vent and talk to someone vs work on therapy tools. Venting is a helpful therapy tool too especially when u have Nobody to talk to. Nobody should make u feel like u gotta put walls up and guilty for needing to just talk. I seriously hope whoever runs this establishment sees this because its just not ok for someone to do that.
I went to Thrive Mental Health for almost 2 years before moving out of town and absolutely loved the team there. The front staff team has always been lovely and I appreciate how helpful and willing Kristen and Jade are to answer any insurance questions or scheduling concerns I had. Alex Cotrufello was a fantastic therapist and helped me make a lot of success in my mental health journey and I highly recommend her to anyone looking into starting IFS. I appreciate all you guys did to help me out and will miss you!
This practice was not a good fit. The counseling wasn't suited for my needs and when I asked for a different councilor, I was referred to the county. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy. BEWARE!
I really appreciate what Dave had to offer in my counseling sessions for group and also my couples counseling. We ended to early for some unexpected life events that were occurring.
