Alissa used her ultrasound machine to treat some damaged tissue and break up a blocked duct. Less than 48 hours later I can feed again pain free and the lump is gone. So good that woman have access to a quick and easy (and pain free) treatment option. Alissa also diagnosed my daughter oral ties and assisted with the follow up care, I would recommend Alissa for her wealth of knowledge for all things baby related.
I owe my whole breastfeeding journey to Alissa (and my friend who referred me to her!). After being severely let down and misguided by the public system Alissa was able to sort out the issues I was having and she was able to make breastfeeding enjoyable. I cannot recommend Alissa enough! We came to her after being recommended by a friend, as my baby girl was really struggling with feeding, and we found out that she had a mouth full of ties. After receiving the treatment she needed to remove the ties, Alissa assisted us with a long rehab process to ensure there was no re-attachment as this had happened after a previous treatment. Alissa absolutely saved our breastfeeding journey! We saw Alissa when our daughter was 7 weeks old, before this we saw many professionals who told us i didn't have enough milk. I was feeling quite defeated about not being able to breastfeed my daughter. Alissa is a wealth of knowledge, extremely passionate and very patient-centred. She's helped me with my toddler and newborn, provided me with lots of helpful information, personalised plans and was really helpful in navigating me around other health care professionals. My children and I adore Alissa for her positive energy and ability of making therapy fun!
