I have been a fan of the Scottsman for the last 20+yrs living in Spokane, I love the food and the local connection they have to the area. If you are looking for a great burger in the Spokane Valley, look no further than The Thrifty Scotsman.
“Super burger cut in half” because it’s so big and delicious you have to cut it in half. Add your fresh homemade French Fries and dip with homemade tarter sauce. If you top it off with a shake, you are in heaven.
I feel sad writing this because I’ve loved going here since high school. I moved across country and while visiting decided this was the one place I wanted to go. I ended up getting VERY sick within 2 hours of eating here (and only eating here). When my mother in-law called to let them know I may have gotten food poisoning, the manager just went on about how that’s not possible . Not even an apology!! Sadly won’t be back
I've been in the area for many years but this is my first time to Thrifty Scotsman. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was great and I think I'll return. Should have checked them out earlier.
