My family had two storage units here for years and combined into one, Janet created a huge issue when my mom couldn't find the key and said we needed paperwork showing my mom had access even though she knew her for years. They said only our dad signed the contract so we provided all paperwork including the will from my dad. They stopped taking our calls and they refused the pa... read more
Janet was fabulous to work with for our recent U-haul rental! She contacted me ahead of time, helped to overcome a problem with the U-haul app, and even let me change to different equipment free of charge when we realized our needs had changed AFTER picking up the 1st truck! We didn't use their self-storage, but that area seemed secure behind a gate that offers access to customers... but not bad guys.
RIPPING OFF OLD PEOPLE. My father had a storage unit there for many years and my mother was usually the only one going several times a year to check on it. The people at Thrifty knew my mother very well. Bills were paid on time every month for years. But once my father passed, Thrifty no longer allowed my mother access to the unit because only his name was on the agreement.
