This review is not necessarily a review for this specific location. This is more for the company in general. When trying to change the return location, I spent more than seven hours on the phone. Their process for extending and modifying return location is broken. I called the reservations line the customer service line, I called more than 20 thrifty car rental locations and no one could help. Horrible experience with Thrifty. Long wait times to see an agent at the LAX rental. Booked and paid for a Mazda cx5 (or similar) however the agent tried to tell me I only booked a compact SUV and tried upselling me on the vehicle I already booked. I was told there will be a deposit of $300 but will get it back within 24 hours of return. I returned the vehicle at the Santa Ana location and ended up getting charged $300 for a "cleaning fee". I left the vehicle as I received it. Never ate nor did I leave any garbage in the car... read more

Rented a car from LAX. The car dashboard indicated low tire pressure the next day. I filled air in the tire and it showed low tire pressure again the following day. I called their helpline and they gave me a case number and asked me to exchange the car to John Wayne airport. I exchanged the car but got an additional charge of $300 for flat tire. How is it my responsibility pay for a new tire when the tire pressure was already low? This is ridiculous
