Don't know why there are low reviews on Thrifty. Easy to find, smooth process, great rental, good value. Satisfied customer here and thankful for a great business offering at the Chattanooga Airport.

The cars are all under one franchise. Thrifty is operated by the same business as Hertz is. They're all terrible. Stay away at all costs. Don't trust any online deals.

I reserved through Expedia. I opted for the extra insurance. When I picked up the SUV, thrifty said I needed an extra code for the coverage. I was never sent that, and no way to connect with Expedia to get it. Sooooo I paid for the insurance, but wasn’t covered. Thankful I didn’t need the coverage, but that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. I was given a phone number to call for check-in upon return. But no one answers that phone, it was a voice mail. So check-in was a cluster. Not a great experience—- but the car was great!

I'm mildly irritated that the truck I rented was scheduled to be ready for me at 10 a.m, and when I arrived at 11:45, I had to wait 15-20 minutes for someone to clean it [even though I assured them it wasn't necessary]...but the Hertz desk clerk was very friendly
