Poor service. Just today the old lady told us to sleep on the floor. What kind of customer service she’s trying to convey to us.
WHEN I WALK IN AND ASK FOR MY ROOM NUMBER AND KEY CARD AND WHEN I SAID "IT WAS FOR 4 ADULTS AND 1 CHILD" SHE SAID NO IT FOR 4 ADLUTS AND SHE HAD A WHOLE ENTIRE FUSS ABOUT THE CHILD SAYING I AND MY FAMILY SHOULD SLEEP ON THE FLOOR AND IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY.
I had a very disappointing experience at Thriftlodge Hotel in Regina. The staff were extremely disrespectful and unprofessional — they spoke to customers rudely and didn’t seem to care about providing good service. The overall customer service was very poor, and when I tried to raise my concerns, they were ignored. The room conditions were also below expectations, and the management’s attitude made the stay even worse. The room was very clean. Everything was as expected. It was nice & quiet. The pillow could be softer but it was fine. 😉 Very close to an excellent Mexican restaurant & some shops. Very convenient.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels, this by far was the worst. I knew for the price it wasn't going to be anything fancy, but this was far beyond sub par. The shower had more water coming out of the tap then the shower head, the bed had springs coming through, and the staff were rude. When we left at 6am to go get a coffee, the staff was staring at us, and then trying to enter our room to go clean it.
