How is metal detecting not allowed on the public beaches anywhere in the park district? What ever excuse the Three Rivers has about a place being to populated is garbage.
I WAS HARRASED AND CHASED BY A CRAZY MAN IN A WHITE SUBARU FORRESTER , HE WAS TAKING PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF ME AND MY DOG FOR NO REASON AND WHEN I CALLED THEIR POLICE THEY LAUGHED AT ME!!!
So peaceful, lots of trails to choose from. Very clean property with "yes ladies" really clean bathrooms, not only outhouses. You will leave stress free for sure.
