I would not recommend Three Rivers Hospice to anyone unless you want to be sure your loved one passes away. The nurse loaded my Dad with morphine until he died. He had been eating and talking prior to hospice ‘care’. We specifically asked if he would still be fed, etc and the rep. we met with said yes; however that was not the case. He was never fed again because they said he was not awake to eat. This was because he was completely doped on morphine. He died one week to the day after we signed hospice papers. Rachel and Mary were WONDERFUL! They took great, loving care of my mom Dee. They spoke of the process and what to expect. We were grateful to have their help

I give Zero stars but had to chose one. The admitting RN did not tell me that Hospice in a skilled nursing facility is not the same as palliative Hospice. She never told me no IV, no PT , no Blood draws. I had my mom on palliative before. I specifically asked all her orders will remain the same right?? Yes she said. WRONG!! Found out in time but what a way to find out. Read the small print!!
