I did not get regular updates, calling and getting an answer was impossible, and when my grandfather did pass, they couldn’t get out there to pronounce him. If it weren’t for my coordination with his home health and the funeral home, he wouldn’t have been picked up for hours. Not a fan and I hope to not have to use them again.
Crystal was my mom’s care giver and we truly appreciate how hard she worked to help my mom. We had good success when contacting the office and are thankful they were there for us in our time of need.
My father recently passed away in the long-term unit at a skilled nursing facility. My understanding of Hospice was that they would be the intermediary if he needed medical care unrelated to his hospice diagnosis. He had some major issues with his hearing which came about suddenly, so not a long-term situation.
