RecommendedThe staff at Palmilla became like family to Mom and me over the past 14 months. I always knew she was well cared for and I didn't need to worry about her safety. Many times they brought her meals. I could call anytime and ask to talk with the med techs or caregivers. They always gave me time to ask questions and never made me feel like I was interrupting. RecommendedWe moved my mom into a studio apt at Doughtery ferry assisted living after we were told she could no longer live alone due to problems with her memory. It was a difficult decision that was made so much easier after I met Andy and toured the facility. I immediately knew this was the place for our mom. RecommendedMy husband resided at Lone Mountain Memory care for ten months before he passed away. The facility was beautiful with lots of light from the floor to ceiling windows, Everyone has a private room with a bath. The staff was exceptional, kind, funny and knowledgeable about dementia. I can not say enough good things about the staff. They welcomed him when he arrived and were with him when he passed away. They knew all of his likes and dislikes and talked to him every day. They are the kindest people on earth.
RecommendedI have never experienced a more caring and nurturing environment for my father, who has dementia. Not only is the staff wonderful, the caregivers are very hands-on, and you can tell they really do care about the residents. Lone Mountain is open, very clean, sunny and bright, beautifully decorated and it looks very homey. RecommendedJust a massive shout out to all the staff on site tonight with the unfortunate fire at the enclave. “Tricia” and the staff there did such amazing things to keep the residents safe! Truly inspirational. I saw the fire and was able to stop in before the fire trucks and everyone arrived to offer assistance. I was a chef for years in senior living and I just had instinct to stop and help. I would be proud to be a senior someday living with that staff around me! I went to visit my mother today at this so called assisted living and memory care place. My mother’s room was disgusting it was dirty you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned in forever. This wasn’t new dirt it was old. Think again before you leave anyone you care about in this place.
