Previous Post: March 3rd, 2016 - STILL NO STAR HERE - Needless to say, I had to pay a reputable company to finish the job by actually cutting down the last half of the tree, removing all the 6 foot sections laying on the ground AND removing the stump as originally quoted on. Go to Bittman Tree Service if you want to deal with a company that is reputable and won't rip you off!
This needs a less than 1/2 or No Star - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH star! Got a quote for complete Tree removal. Stump and all. Called and arranged to have the COMPLETE removal done. When I reminded him of the Quote, he said that we would have to do the clean up. We had no problem with that since we wanted the wood for firewood. Was there 20 minutes, took my check, and left me with half a tree still in my yard. This is since last October (2015). Called to get him to finish the job. NO STARS!!! Needed firewood delivered and charged me delivery fee even though it was supposed to be free delivery within 5 miles. And the wood I got was garbage. There were knots, rotten wood so damaged it looked like cork board, sizes varying from 6 inches to sizes that need cut again. Horrible quality wood. Some was even pre burnt!!!!! Too bad there isn't an option for no stars. Had them out for an estimate yesterday, will never have them on my property again. Very unprofessional and rude. Ranted about his competition, accusing them of drug use, then told me the higher estimate he FINALLY gave me would expire in 24 hours. I'm amazed they're still in business.
They literally just left my home about 15 mins ago. Was quoted a price for UP to our fence line. Half the trees are still over the tree line. They left a mess, branches and everything all over our driveway. Soon as they got the check in hand, they booked out of here. Won't be using again that's for sure. When you are quoted a price for work and get an excuse that their truck was already too high, maybe you should learn to quote services better.
This guys a con artist that bullies the elderly, avoid him at all unless you want to be ripped off
