Stranded in my RV in a small state park in Montana, I needed help. Good Sam didn't seem to be doing anything, so we called Three Forks Automotive. Thank God. Paul knew the park and came out within half an hour to look at the problem. He ended up coming out three times. Yes, he charged for those visits which is fine. The fact it, he came. I’m a mechanic myself (for aviation) and own and operate a shop. I hate taking my vehicle in to get worked on, because I have the knowledge and ability to do it myself, but never the time. I often have had bad experiences. I tried Paul out and I was not disappointed. Straightforward, great communicator, fairly priced, and honest. I’ll be coming back. Quite honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a personal vehicle.
Three Forks Auto is awesome. My family and I were on a trip, towing our travel trailer from north Idaho to Columbus, Ohio. We stayed overnight at the rest stop in Three Forks. When we got up to leave, my truck ('22 Ram 2500) would not start. Someone tried jumping me, and it didn't help at all. I called AAA and they said they would tow me within 5 miles. Good, fast, honest service. Vehicle fixed the same day!
I did some pretty serious damage to my car when I hit a snow-covered rock, tearing open the oil pan and exhaust among other things. Paul returned my call in no time and told me to have the tow truck drop me at the shop. He got me in immediately and evaluated the damage within 48 hours. Communication was honest and thorough and he wasted no time ordering parts. I was back on the road exactly a week later - I would have been lucky to even have my car checked out in that timeframe elsewhere. Cannot recommend these guys enough!!
