We own a 1916 historic home and Thoughtful Craftsmen just completed a very large renovation/restoration project of our integral gutters (now copper lined) and the wooden entablature/soffits that surround our house. We are extremely happy with the outcome and truly appreciate their stellar communication, deep historical and technical knowledge, incredible work ethic and genuine care for their customers. I highly recommend them and would happily discuss our experience with anyone who might consider using them in the future. ... read more
There is a long lead time to get the work done, but they arrived when scheduled, had all the right tools and equipment, and worked professionally. The work was window cord replacement and rebalancing. The work was done in less time than estimated and the clean up afterward was very good.

Frances, Alex and their team did an outstanding job replacing the gutters and all surrounding entablature on our 100 years old house. The quality of the work and the efficiency of the project management were the best we have experienced in 30+ years of home ownership. Thoroughly recommend!!
The sunroom windows in our 1927 bungalow had been neglected and looked terrible. They no longer had the original rope pulls, they need staining and reglazing as well. Thoughtful Craftsman carefully and patiently restored our front windows to their original function-- they are beautiful and they work! I From a historical, environmental and aesthetic perspective, we so happy we decided to restore our windows with Thoughtful Craftsman.
