The food and service are superb. Fresh seafood, veal, lamb, duck, chicken and beef dishes are prepared by some of the finest chefs on the East Coast. Since opening in 1988, Thoroughbred's has won a number of local and state awards. This is a first class restaurant and a dining experience not to be missed.

It's all the name implies... It draws the golfing crowd and tends to be dark and male clubby. But it's tastefully decorated and promises a good dining experience.
We have visited Myrtle Beach annually for the past 25 years. Each year, we select one "expensive place" for one evening out. This was the "pits".
Disappointing - average for Myrtle Beach – I was there 6/2/05 with my family. The prime rib had incredible flavor but it was served cool in temperature. I ate with 8 members and 3 out of 3 complained about the fillet migon; poor quality. Beautiful restaurant, but overall below average due to poor staff, food and over priced food.
Great Food, Great City! – My family and I vacation at Myrtle Beach every year and my fiance and I have looked for a new place each year. We went to Thoroughbreds in 2003 and it was great. The food was fantastic, service was good, but not stuffy, and the wine we had from Dynamite vinyards was just what the name says...dynamite. If you get a chance, call and make a reservation and go. Its worth even fighting Grand Strand traffic for!!!
