You know you have entered a place of class and elegance when you see Thoroughbred's mahogany walls, leather accents, fireplaces, oil paintings and French doors. Each dining room is cozy and romantic. The food and service are superb. Fresh seafood, veal, lamb, duck, chicken and beef dishes are prepared by some of the finest chefs on the East Coast. Since opening in 1988, Thoroughbred's has won a number of local and state awards. This is a first class restaurant and a dining experience not to be missed.

Out of this world What can you say it's the whole package here !!! The food is amazing the environment is relaxing and so romantic and the service is exceptional !!! I love this place !!
It's all the name implies... It draws the golfing crowd and tends to be dark and male clubby. But it's tastefully decorated and promises a good dining experience. I only order steak and beef entrees here as I think they do these best. None of us has ever been disappointed here and the guys really like the bartender.
Terrible Brunch 3/23/2008 - Had brunch here today. All the meats, pork and lamb, and the fish were over cooked. Deserts were poorly served, large pieces pre-cut that prevented sampling. Potato salad had potatoes that appeared to be uncooked. Terrible experience. Would not recommend buffet. Formal diner is excellent.
Great french onion soup I am not sure what ingredients they use but the french onion soup is to die for!! Absolutely wonderful. The food is good, I have had good experiences. It is expensive and not really a place for children.
Probably prime steak but not exceptional. $22 for table side ceasar above house salad which is included. veg side very plain.
Excellent friendly service, delicious food, and although expensive, you DO get what you pay for, Decor is quite formal but dress can be formal or casual: customer's choice. We had the Thanksgiving Day Buffet which included all the tradtional favorites. Plus perfectly cooked Prime Rib and some unusual and yummy butternut squash/vidalia onion soup! And a rutabaga casserole! Smoked salmon, poached salmon, huge peel & eat shrimp, green bean casserole, various cold salads, and a selection of cakes & pies to die for.
