My wife and i have been there 3 times last year was wonderful ,tonight it was terrible 60 bucks down the drain the prime rib was terrible we got the fillet mingion and it was great they said they are getting away from being a steak house well we will never go back the service was terrible and the manager offered no answers to our problems good bye thornys

We always eat here several times per summer when we come to Myrtle Beach, looking forward to it. We went tonight and needless to say, a lot has changed and for the worse. To start with, we ordered cheese fries for an appetizer. It was nothing more than fries and nacho cheese dip. The menu changed, they only have a couple steaks to offer. First time customer, and we loved it! The food was excellent, and perfectly timed even though they were busy on a Friday night. The staff was friendly and our waiter Chad was super polite, and informative. He had great knowledge of the restaurant and menu, and was attentive and prompt. We will definitely be back ;)

We've always enjoyed Thorny's, but our visit tonight was horrible. We waited at the bar 20-30 mins as expected, before being seated. I ordered simple, with soup and bake potato. We were served bread and waited for our food and waited. Finally our server came by to say they were out of soup, so I decided just on the potato, easy enough. Thirty more minutes go by and our server comes by to say they ran out of potatoes. Almost 1.5 hours into this and no food. Hope to give Thorny's an excellent rating. Bought on line at a discount site $50.00 for 27.95. Plan on going soon, we try different places at least once, just to say we done it. Will be reporting back soon, stay tuned.
