Place opened at 3:30. I walked in at 3:40 to an empty restaurant and was told it was a 20 minute wait!! Not good. Walked out just as quick.... This was during Spring break.
First time in Myrtle Beach and our first time at Thorny's. The food was amazing! Rib meat fell of the bone, rolls were delicious and the sirloin was tender and not dry. We were seated near the kids gaming area. The only reason I rate this a 4 instead of a 5 is our table was away from the main dining area. We had a separate small tv at our table that only had local channels, no remote and would not stay on for more than 5 minutes at a time. The seats were very old and the vinyl bubbling. Service (Janlyn) was amazing! But I got 24 wings, basically a cheesesteak a beer and 2 root beer floats and it was $52, prices are way to high, but it was good. Janlyn was fast, consistent, sweet and we really enjoyed having her as our waitress.
Great food, great service!! Loved it! Will definitely go back!
