We are so happy we chose Thompson’s Flooring to refinish our antique pine and maple floors. They did excellent work in a very timely fashion, and for a reasonable price. Brad was easy to communicate with, and had a very direct, honest approach that we really appreciated. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Pictures worth 1000 words!
Brad is a true professional and class act. He came out to look at our floors and took the time to explain the trade offs and why refinishing wasn't the best move in our situation. It's been a bit since Brad did our floors (back in February). I meant to leave a review but kept forgetting. Finally got around to it, but that's how happy I was with his work, that I feel like he still deserves the review. He finished our wooden floors in a timely manner and filled in patches that were missing/damaged. The work was great, the price was fair, and Brad was a great person who really cares about his craft. He will explain it all upfront with you, and if you need anything, feel free to just reach out to him.
Perhaps this team is best at installing floors in new homes or refinishing floors in existing homes. But in terms of installing new wide pine into an old farmhouse, they leave much to be desired. I’m a few months out from a completed installation, and I still get so frustrated when I walk thru my home and look at my new hardwood floors. First, my home is a 200 year old farmhouse.
