These were some of the worst crabs ever. A family member was given a "deal". Got 2 bushels for the price of one. Good thing price was for one bushel because close to a whole bushel were auwful. Appeared and tasted like cooked dead crabs. You open them up and even the dead man fingers looked horrible; bad coloring. Taste was quite nasty. This was yesterdat, 30 July. NEVER again. Will teach us not to go a REAL crab place. Although I cant imagine their place in Mechanicsville would ever be this bad.
Purchased a half bushel about 2 months ago, the lady told me they we're really good and I would enjoy no y them.. they were very poor and full of water
We don't buy crabs from anyone else but Thompson's!
Went there today and won't be back. Got 1/2 bushel of #1 males. There may have been what I call 4 # 1's. The rest were small/med. The person that answered the phone said they were good and full. Not! Most weren't even warm, like they were from the day before. Very dissapointed, will go somewhere else.
The crabs are always good and the prices are great.
