Dr. McNeal was born and raised in Sedalia. He graduated salutatorian from Smith-Cotton High School in 2003 where he received a full academic scholarship to the University of Missouri-Columbia. He graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri in 2010. Charged me over $1000 and new my dog was going to die of kidney failure. Forced me to pay an emergency bill. Then when my other dog got sick told me it would be 3 weeks before they could get an appointment and said otherwise they'd force me again to pay emergency bills. Two months ago they charged me over $2000 for an emergency charge as well. Then after calling me and arguing they said why do you want to bring your dog back here anyway. Vet nor the vet techs know anything about dog body language. I will always be my dogs voice but your vets/vet techs should know and understand body language. Knowing these things prevents injury to you or the dog. Also prevents putting a calm dog into a stressful situation. We will go elsewhere for care.

RecommendedWe have always taken our fur babes here. I would never take them anywhere else. We rescued both of our dogs. Our Coonhound is 122lbs of terrified and aggression towards anyone outside of our family. They are always more than willing to work with us in the way WE think is best for our dog to be cared for. Poor guy has to be sedated just for a nail trim, it’s always a whole event to get it done and Thompson Hills and all their staff is fabulous from the front to the back!!!

My big Pit/Mastiff gets such high anxiety when in an unknown place with unknown people, and the entire staff was so nice, he felt better within the first 15 minutes.
