Called Nov 20th was charged $200 to be told i needed both coils changed both leaking and needed new kind of freon for $5500 . (They had repaired leaks and freon for 6 years patching it)It took til February to get the warrantied parts from trane . Then had 3 scheduled no call no shows ,then told one of the coils was stolen . Then told one of the coils was last in the southeast and it was the old kind of freon getting replaced (which is way expensive). I've used Thompson since moving to Spartaburg in June 2021. Their service is great - they show up when they say they will and explain charges before it's time to pay. I don't have much experience with costs as this is my first house, but in my opinion their prices are reasonable. I only have two complaints - that my brand new air conditioner was dropped during installation and the installers didn't say anything about it and no discount was offered for the dents, and that no measurements were taken when I was purchasing my n... read more
Scott Thompson was awesome. Answered all out question. We now have air conditioning. Please call Thompson Heating and Air. I called them October 1st and they were able to come the next day. We will be calling them the next time we have a issue.
Second time using this company! Service was just as perfect as the first time. Repairman arrived at my house within 90 minutes. It was a little more than I thought it was but not a huge increase in price. I still believe Thompson's walks on water. Thank you, Scott!
