Literally the best Thompson we’ve stayed at. All are exceptional, but Natalie at the front desk, and our server, Karina, at The Tavern (restaurant connected to hotel) made our experience so much better!!! You’re lucky if Natalie is up front when you need anything and definitely request Karina as your server. Made our trip so so so much better!
We had a wonderful stay at Thompson Chicago! The lobby had a lovely ambiance, and the aesthetic throughout the hotel was beautiful. We enjoyed the views of the lake and surrounding high rises, and everyone we encountered on staff was pleasant and welcoming. Tavern on Rush was a highlight, with great food and a wonderful atmosphere. The Gold Coast neighborhood was also perfect for strolling and exploring. A lovely place to stay during our first visit to Chicago!

The service was great, and the location is excellent. The room could have been a little cleaner, especially when it came to dust, but the bathroom was spacious and the renovations seem to have been done nicely. We stayed here with our child and were very satisfied overall.
