Thomasville has a good mix of furniture, antiques, historic sites, unique festivals, restaurants of all types and LOTS of activities. There are cycling groups, running groups, rail fan groups, horse riders, golfers, you name it- they've got it. I also like its central location in the state and proximity to major highways, mtns. and beaches. If Thomasville were a stock, I think it recently moved from a "hold" to a "Buy." If you haven't been to Thomasville in a few years, then you haven't seen Thomasville!
It is cute, quaint, n growing! A couple of good restaurants, n neat little down town to walk about.
I really wish this site would post more family events, church bazaars, county fairs, etc. I believe in buying local so I need to know where the craft shows are.
