They really deserve 0 stars. The reviews are true! RUDE! Wild how some people offer you a place to live but come with the attitude that makes you want to stay homeless. You will get the run around.. Please do your research and let this be your last resort.
I lived here for 6 years beofre I got put out due to me not paying them 3000 bc I told them when I worked and when I started they did not change my rent for 6 months *which is not my fault* so they said I owed them 3000 and I’m not paying that bc I followed the rules which was report your income within 10 days not to mention when I found out I had to move I had 4 DAYS FOUR !!! there taking these singles parents money ms steele use to be the lady that answers the phone now she is the manager and she talks to you like trash th... read more
I was put out for "bumping" my neighbor's car with my door. I was also 9 months pregnant at the time. I was taken to court due to my neighbor taking out false charges on me. The judge dropped the charges after I proved my neighbor was lying on me. Housing authority asked for the form that shows the case dismissed After turning in the form I still had to move. Do not apply to live here mrs steel should be reported fired and sued..they over the top mistreated me making me pay over the top rent that did not coincide with my hours at work. they evicted me for still moving my things from one place to the other..they move very slow when it comes to fixing things for the apartment. and the older lady’s at the office for some reason are not looking to empowered us young lady’s they would rather make it harder for us …don’t move here!!!!!
Been here going on 3 years in June! I have no energy to go into every detail. Just know you should make this your last option if needing a place to live. Which it was my last option. Manager and staff know that most of the residents have no other options. So they play off that fact. You will do what we say and give us whatever funds we ask of you even it sounds absurd unless you want to be homesless. Also if you move into the housing apartment forget about section 8.
