First thing I want to say is that Thomasville is not the crazy party place it was in the 80's & 90's (even though there are some people that still live here since back then) but it is a decently quiet place to live and a nice little community. Yes, there is a bar on the property that is like our own neighborhood bar, where you can almost always find a friend already there or make a new one and the poolside service during the summer is fantastic! I lived in an apartment here with my husband for just over a year. It was a wonderful place to stay! I believe we were in one of the more updated units, so the appliances were newer, the carpet was in good condition, and the price was also very affordable. It's surrounded by a golf course, which we loved as it was so beautiful and green all around. So, overall it was a nice place to call home for the time we were there. I lived at the Thomasville for almost 2 years and if I hadn't had to move out of state for school, I would have continued living there for longer! (I wish the staff owned my current complex tbh) Maintenance requests were always handled in a timely manner for me and they always clearly communicated the plan and timeline if they didn't have the parts to fix it. One of the maintenance guys even came over to knock down the beginnings of a wasps nest for me!! The office staff were always courteous and answered any questions I had... read more
