HEAVENLY BAKED BEANS! Oh, my goodness! This little jewel of a barbeque place has great pork, but OH THEIR BAKED BEANS! I don't even know how to describe them adequately! They are smokey and flavorful with little bits of smoke pork throughout. I've purchased them for several parties at my home and also at our church and people always rave about them. RecommendedI would definitely recommend the Baked Beans packed with BBQ! It was a great fast lunch spot with excellent service! We had pulled pork, beef, potato salad, coleslaw, and baked beans. Everything was quite tasty! FYI Is it a cash/check only establishment.
Best BBQ and baked beans in KY
The food has been known for decades to be incredible. The 'chipped' and the beans are our family favorites. Big THANK YOU! to Frank and the staff for helping me put a smile on my parent's and uncle's faces today. Spirit of '76 Forever! :-)
The beans are the only thing on the menu worth eating in my opinion. We ordered takeout today and it was horrible quality. The rib was tough and sitting in a pool of watered down bbq sauce. And the other 2 pulled meats were very dry. They also forgot the bread, pickle and onion for both meals. We noticed it when we got home, but driving from the far northside, it wasn't worth going back. We'll continue to get beans for family functions, but that's about it.
Consistently fab! The beans are the best we've ever had...the barbecue is great as well. :)
