I’ve seen Dr Sweet for about a year now. I was referred to him by Kaiser Urology and (after dealing with the complete circus that is Kaiser San Diego Urology) was really at the end of my rope with Kaiser. Dr Sweet really helped me get to a better place. Dr Sweet is very experienced, kind, smart and kind of a smart-a$$ (which I like). He is very responsive. This physician is terrible. He demonstrates little to no concern for treatment side effects and has very poor people skills. Despite a diagnosis of cancer, he never wanted to meet me or conduct in-person exams, even while sending me to a year of immunotherapy. So much can be missed by merely treating a patient with 10 minute phone calls every six weeks. He was dismissive and uncaring. I felt like a lab rat to him, not a patient. My 80 yr old family member was given s diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia by Dr. Sweet, prognosis of 6 -12 months. At the time of diagnosis he was waiting for results of 2 more studies prior to a treatment plan. We were told if he didn’t contact her 10 days to call him. We called in 5 days, only one result was back. Three weeks,no word from the doctor. We called left a message, 10days later he left a voicemail he would call back in 3 days. Two weeks later nothing until we filed a complaint
