Dr. Maxey has amazing bedside manner, and an honest, compassionate approach when talking about cardiovascular treatments. We met with him while I was pregnant with our son, who has transposition of the great arteries, and coarctation of the aorta, and he performed my son's surgery in December of 2021, when he was just 8 days old. The open heart surgery was not nearly as overwhelming as it could have been, and that was largely in part to Dr. Maxey's compassion and care.
He did my Fontan revision. He’s an amazing surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner
Dr. Maxey is an excellent surgeon he explained so much to me before and after my surgery in 2017. He truly cares about what he does and his patients. Thank you Dr. Maxey for everything.
