I’m very disappointed with my last visit. Dr. Schumacher is great, but he ordered a test that, unbeknownst to me, is not covered by insurance. It ended up being several hundred dollars, which I am unable to pay for. I called the office and spoke to someone in billing who told me it was my responsibility to ask and check on possible charges, which is simply false. Great doctor. Very compassionate He explains everything very thoroughly to you. And he updates you about your medical history. I currently been going to Ascension Medical on Diversey, because of my insurance, but I’m going back to Endeavor Health care with Dr. Schumacher. Ascension Health Care, seems to be a real disorganized mess. So I recommend Dr. Schumacher with Endeavor Health Care, to all new patients going forward. Ed
Every time I’ve come here before today, everything was great. The staff was professional, and I never had any issues. However, today was absolutely terrible. The first nurse tried to draw blood from my vein but failed. She said I needed a thicker needle and tried again, but still couldn’t do it. I asked for another nurse, who said I needed a pediatric needle, which they didn’t have, but she attempted a third time anyway.
