Dr. Forget performed surgery on me to address my condition which was Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). A shunt/valve was installed in the area of my brain to drain off excess cerebral fluid. This surgery was performed ten years ago and I have never had a problem and the NPH problem was fully arrested. Ten years ago sounds like a long time but it also means my surgery had more than ample time to be "road tested" to assess its success.
Suggested surgery immediately. Also, suggested pain doctor for shots. I went to pain doctor who said that shot was not appropriate. I then went to a different neurosurgeon who said that I had so many abnormalities that a shot most likely would not hit the spot where pain was emanating, and that surgery would not allow my neck to turn and not solve problem. He gave me exercises and told me to take pain meds as needed. I would never trust Dr. Forget. Always get second opinion. I'm coping.
Business response:
We take these concerns seriously, but unfortunately we have no way of contracting you. We welcome you to contact the office.
Dr. Forget treated me for a brain aneuysm back in 2008 and then in April of the year (2016) he went back and put in a stent and more coils because the vessel required reinforcement. due to thinning. Dr Forget is an excellent neurosurgeon!!,
Doctor was very cold when it came to my appointment. Not often does one need to see a Neurosurgeon and knowing what questions and concerns to ask is not something one is exactly prepared for. A Doctor should be prepared to bring up common information that would make a patient feel more at ease.
