He scheduled this shoulder and arm repair, times 3, as a same day surgery to nurses debating on how my arm should be situated. One made the statement well Berkbigler like his turned this way. I woke up in the ICU unit. Having no clue how I got there. Was released days later without ever having spoken with him. This was 10 years ago I still have very little use of this arm due to major nerve damage. What lil I have was due to hours and hours of PT. I CANNOT lift it above my head. Anytime I have chest X-rays a comment will be ... read more

I was referred to Dr Beard by my primary for damage to shoulder after a bad fall resulting in painful catching/clicking/popping with movement. Their office scheduled me with Dr Berkbigler instead of Dr Beard (my Primary was angry about this change as he would NEVER have referred me to Dr Berkbigler because of his reputation with patients). Was promised 'no pain, no notable loss of strength' post-op. Pain is 24/7 8 weeks later. ROM is more limited post-op than pre-op. Would rather go back to the pre-op intermittent pain.Berkb... read more

Dr. Berkbigler did my mother’s shoulder replacement surgery and when he put the piece down in her Humerus bone...he split her arm in 3 places. She never could do physical therapy before her shoulder froze up. He was a total jerk about it. And it was his fault. The replacement piece was too large for her. Horrible doctor with a disgusting attitude.

Dr Berkbigler, Is a Horrible Doctor. He was nice at first but, after my Surgery he turned Very Mean. He told me and another patient" that we're terrible patients. He said if it hurts he would not return to our room. What does he expect he just cut our knees open. So, then he took off down the hallway Yelling" what a set of Horrible Patients he had the past couple of days. The Nurses were not even helpful. It was a 2 hour wait for our call light. The Nurse on duty that night said" you both need to wait until your Nurse comes ... read more

This surgeon did my elbow surgery in January 2016 because it had a growth that was causing pain and weekness. My surgery went very well and the scar is barely noticeable. This man has missed his calling, he should have been a plastic surgeon

This was second knee replacement. Knee was solid and stable when I left hospital. Was up and going in 2 weeks without aid of walkers or cane. Staff was great to work with also. Easy to talk to and actually call you by name. Care, comfort, consideration and confidence close to home. Glad he's in our community.

Not honest at all, begins first sessions exactly like his posted philosophy states, but after surgery, when things have gone wrong during surgery, his demeanor changes to denial and non-caring, medical records virtually impossible to obtain, claims computer problems, etc... Life of pain and fractured bone that cannot heal.

Dr Bertbigler is the best. I was born with a club foot. He knew about club foot/feet. And the problems I have with my knee/foot. I would highly recommend Dr Bertbigler.
