Dr. Nelson did my left anterior surgery. That was 2 years ago. It has been amazing. He is very skilled.
Dr Nelson is a fraud. If you have Medicare or state Medicaid he will not treat you. I came to him with a fractured ankle and serious joint problems. He said he can not treat me because he’s a surgeon and not a pain doctor. Then later wrote that I am overweight and have hip problems because of my weight in his doctors notes to my insurance company. How this man still has his license to practice medicine I do not know.
This so called dr is no good. DO NOT use him. He is only in it for the money. He is very unprofessional and raises his voice to his patients in need of care and in pain. Will deny you if he isn't gonna get much out of it.
Doctor Nelson has replaced my hip using the anterior method. I have enjoyed both his professional expertise and sincerely caring manner.
Gaslights my grandmother on a regular basis when she is in pain. Atrocious bedside manner. He makes my grandmother cry every time we go. Dismissive of patient concerns. Literally said, verbatim, he would not do anything for my grandmother. We had to beg for care.
