I transferred my care here from Chicago. I have complex Regional Pain syndrome, occipital Neuralgia, and Trigeminal neuralgia. I have been on Gabapentin and Tramadol for 8 years. He decided I didn’t need Tramadol and could go off of it cold turkey! He gave me no solutions or help. He treated me like a drug seeker. He is completely unacceptable and should not be working in a pain clinic.
I am so pleased with my interactions with Dr. Marsolek! I really feel like he's partnering with me to come up with the best solutions for my pain, which is what I needed, instead of someone trying to dictate how I was going to work with them.
I had a four disc fusion in my neck. Seventh spine surgery and 10th fusion. I saw him 3 months post op. I was treated like a drug seeker and given a heroine addiction medication for pain. When I said it doesn’t work and the headache are horrible he offered no pain medication. I asked for a referral for palliative care and his comment to me was there not giving you opioids.
